Details: Being positive is paramount, even through a pandemic. This Lunch n’ Learn will ultimately focus on our professional future by pinpointing some of the parks and recreation competencies that you have been able to develop during the last year. There will be time for a little bit of focus, future and fun in this 90 minute Lunch n’ Learn.
Please let us know you are coming by answering a couple questions. The outlook calendar link is also embedded into the survey, but if you miss it, e-mail Kaisa Miller and she will send it to you!
Etiquette: Please consider using a device that you can share video & audio. It’s much more valuable speaking to faces rather than just names on the screen! This is during lunch so please feel free to eat during the meeting. Just have the mute button on standby so we don’t salivate listening to the chomping! 😊
CPRS District 2 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, CPRS District 2
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
If you need any special assistance or accommodations:
CPRS District 2 has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best
practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.
Compliance Procedures and Reports
In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards,
CPRS District 2 regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
